Site Planning

A great project begins with a great site and we can assist in making sure you make the right choice. We are available for site visits, consulting, density studies and visualization during this critical project phase.

Design and Visualization

We take pride in creating an inclusive design phase where all stakeholders have an opinion and options. We strive for design with impact and integrity. Our buildings fit in with their context yet command attention and will be unique to the client and place. Technology and visualization tools are utilized to allow you to see your design as it progresses and make sure their are no surprises in construction.

Documentation

We understand that the devil is in the details. Our experience in bringing projects from design through construction gives us the confidence to know that our designs can be implemented in the field. Our documents will be thorough and appropriate for permitting and construction.

Construction

We hope that you will consider keeping us engaged through the construction phase. When a challenge arises, we will be there to see it through. Value engineering may be necessary but we will work with you to make sure the essence of the design is not lost and impact and integrity remains.

We use Revit and 3D modeling to deliver visualization throughout the design process. Our managers actively participate in all phases of the project to insure responsiveness and technical quality. While your project will have a consistent team, we have internal processes in place to provide the benefit of studio input and collaboration from our whole team.

Ellen is the Owner/Founder and CEO of Silver Studio Architects, a mid-size boutique full-service architecture and interior design firm focused on multifamily housing, mixed-use and commercial building projects. She is a member of the Women Presidents Organization, American Institute of Architects, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional, and a National Council of Architectural Registration Board Certificate Holder. Ellen is an active member of ULI Atlanta and recently graduated from the ULI Center for Leadership. She was also a 2015 graduate of Leadership Buckhead.

Ellen prides herself on breaking the mold of traditional architecture firms with her creation of Silver Studio. She has focused on creating a modern work culture and virtual office environment. Her firm is rooted in trust and mutual respect and she values good judgement, communication, curiosity, innovation, courage, passion, selflessness, inclusion, integrity and impact.

Ellen lives in Atlanta with her husband Brian and two children, Grayson (8) and Emery (4). She and her family enjoy spending time at Lake Oconee, boating, eating, swimming and having fun. She plays tennis and golf and when time allows, she loves to cook and entertain.
