Serving as a lively hub within the community, Bexley Sugarloaf comprises 390 apartments and townhomes with a variety of unique floor plan options, from spacious 2-story townhomes with private gardens to sleek, urban flats wrapped with floor-to-ceiling glazing. Residents can access an impressive range of on-site amenities, including a resort-style saltwater swimming pool with poolside firepits, a rooftop lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a yoga lawn and studio, co-working offices, EV charging stations, and a community garden and walking trail. Neighbors can also connect at any of several in-community eateries, allowing their lifestyles to extend beyond their homes and throughout the community, creating a truly exceptional place to call home.
Thoughtfully designed, the architecture provides a lively frontage on Old Peachtree Road while scaling down to the residential neighbors in the rear. The site includes multiple three-, four-, and five-story wood structures intentionally positioned to create designated outdoor gathering spaces for residents and the community. Double-height mercantile spaces with expansive storefront openings and covered canopies allow restaurant seating to spill onto the exterior landscape. Rich building materials in various colors and textures were blended in conjunction with varying parapet heights to give the design a contemporary dynamism appropriate to the site context. Honey-tone wood siding is used throughout the design to accentuate the balconies and windows and thread these unique elements together.
